The last book of the Bible, Revelation, ends with the promise that Jesus is coming back! What a glorious day that will be!
At the Halifax Seventh-day Adventist Church, our mission is to make His return known. We believe that what the world needs; what every heart needs, is an infusion of the life giving power of Jesus. He can transform us from whatever we are to a reflection of His perfect Self. If we are broken, He can make us whole. If we are in bondage to evil habits and desires, He can set us free. If we struggle to love, He can give us a new heart. If we are down, He can carry us to heights unknown.
Like His Word says: "Cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you!"

CAMP PUGWASH NS
The HAASG extends an open invitation to all
single adults. Join us at Camp Pugwash.
Meet at the Teen Cabin near the water's edge,
behind the school snack shop (not the youth
tent). HAASG will provide a light meal of
"Haystacks". Please assist by bringing veggie/fruit
trays, etc. Supply own beverage.

Design Contest
Design a patch for the upcoming
2010 camporee at Pugwash.
Requirements are as follows:
No larger than 4 inches X 4 inches
The shape is the designers choice
The theme is “Appreciating our Native Peoples”
The camporee name is “Pagwe'ak Ewi'gat” meaning Pugwash Camp. Our native people, the Mi'kmaq, were associated with teepees, birch bark canoes, hunting, fishing, gathering. Feathers were a significant part of their ceremonies. This will give an idea of ome things to put on the patch.
There will be a prize of $25.00 for the winning patch.
